Privacy, in plain English.
What we collect
- Your email address at checkout, processed by Stripe.
- Free level check and free marker text: used to produce your estimate and not stored.
- Paid beta, Core and Plus submissions: the text you send for marking and the report we return are kept in your account so you can reread them. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Speaking recordings: used for transcription and marking, removed from the app once picked up for marking, and working copies on our marking machine are deleted within 30 days.
- A one-way hash of your IP address, used in a daily rate-limit counter and set to expire within about 48 hours.
How it is used
We use this information to provide the requested practice response, manage access and payments, apply daily marking limits, and answer support requests. Free-marker text is not stored. Paid submissions and their reports stay in your account until you ask us to delete them, and speaking audio is not kept in your account. We do not sell your data or use your answers to train AI models.
Data on your device
The latest practice result may be saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. Local timer recordings also stay on your device and are not uploaded. You can remove this data by clearing the site data in your browser.
Processors
Stripe processes payments. Cloudflare provides hosting, transcription and AI marking. Practice text and audio are sent to Cloudflare only to complete the response you request.
Your choices
You may ask for access to or deletion of information by emailing . We may need to verify your request. The service is for adults aged 18 and over.
