The wording “access pass” and “total” suggests a fixed-period purchase, but the extracted pricing page does not state renewal, tax, cancellation or refund details. Check Maple Exam Lab’s checkout and terms directly before paying rather than inferring them. The evaluation quota is described “per month”; ask how that is applied to a two-week pass if it matters.

PrepFranco displays a US$9 seven-day full-access beta, paid once with no renewal, followed by a monthly plan from US$19/month. Cancel the monthly plan by emailing us before the next billing date. Checkout is live.

Who may prefer Maple Exam Lab

Based on the public pricing page, it may suit a TEF Canada candidate who wants a combined general-French hub and test library, a visible progress dashboard and a defined number of productive-skill evaluations. The two-week pass may fit a booked test date when the candidate has already confirmed that the content and correction style match their needs.

It is also the clearer fit on paper for someone who wants currently advertised A1–C2 learning inside the same product. Inspect a sample first: “A1–C2” describes breadth, not how much instruction exists at the level you need.

Who may prefer PrepFranco

PrepFranco may suit someone still deciding between TEF and TCF, or a user who wants no-cost utilities before choosing a paid platform. Its chooser, score converter, word counter and task timer solve narrow planning problems. The free 12-question level check can provide an initial output sample.

PrepFranco is not currently a substitute for Maple’s claimed complete TEF libraries, learning hub or dashboard. PrepFranco has 6 full mocks, skill drills, a progress page and a mistake notebook. A candidate needing those now should evaluate services where they are already accessible.

Decision questions

  1. Are you definitely taking TEF Canada, or do you still need to compare TCF?
  2. How many writing and speaking evaluations will your plan require?
  3. Does “detailed corrections and translations” show evidence useful to your error pattern?
  4. Are access passes non-renewing, and is tax added?
  5. Does the sample reflect the device and task flow you will use?
  6. Ask for clarity when a pricing page is silent. “Unknown from the public pricing page” is safer than assuming a favourable term.
